    “SS Bremen was a German-built ocean liner constructed for the Norddeutscher Lloyd line (NDL) to work the transatlantic sea route. She was launched at Bremen during the afternoon of Thursday, 16 August 1928. Also known as TS Bremen – for Turbine Ship.” (Wikipedia)
    This doll was purchased on the SS Bremen during the 1930s according to the family I acquired it from. “T.S. BREMEN” is printed on the front of its sailor cap (see photo 3). Front side cloth that was exposed while the doll was sitting on a shelf is faded, but other than that the doll is in good condition. Measures approximately 10.5” tall.
