Beatles on Ed Sullivan Show Stuff
Not long after this run-through shot was taken 73 million Americans spent the night of Sunday, February 9, 1964 with their sets tuned to The Ed Sullivan Show on CBS. The Beatles sang five tunes - "All My Loving," "Till There Was You," "She Loves You," "I Saw Her Standing There" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand." Other Sullivan performers that night included impressionist Frank Gorshin and the Broadway cast of Oliver (with future Monkee Davy Jones as the Artful Dodger). The card is # 8 of a 9-card PROMO set and measures at 2-1/2" x 3-1/2", it is in mint condition and comes in a plastic "Top Loader" case, would make for a great addition to a Beatles memorabilia collection.
