After being on backorder for months, this new RAK Hotspot Miner V2.0 finally arrived. But I have enough other miners for now, so I'm selling this one.
I tried selling it a couple of weeks ago, but the buyer returned it because he thought it wasn't working. I tracked the router by its name and he wasn't being patient for the box to get completely in sync with the network. I tried to coach him through it but he refused and demanded a refund. I think he was having buyer remorse for paying so much above retail.
This miner will be shipping in the original box. You will have to set it up and go through synchronization using the Helium app. Full synchronization takes more than 24 hours; BE PATIENT!! Because someone tried to set this up already there may be a miner fee involved. I have no experience with that. You may need to tweak your WiFI router (to open a port) or use an Ethernet connection for best results; this is common to all Helium miners.
If you want a Helium RAK miner immediately, this is the only way to buy one. Direct orders are still taking months.
If you don't know anything about Helium mining and are trying to jump into a gold rush, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT BUY THIS MINER. This is a "get rich slowly" scheme. Go buy the newest pump-and-dump crypto instead.
