You won't see many of these! I believe this was sold by the NDL as a souvenir aboard their ships, possibly a Hamburg-Amerika piece, but doubtful because they only had one four-stacker. More than likely, the model is meant to represent the Kronprinz Wilhelm Kaiser Wilhelm II, Kronprinzessin Cecilie, or Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse. Heavy little paperweight made out of some kind of cast metal that was gilded gold, with an inset town scene on one side, I have no idea what town it is or where it is supposed to be, I've looked for this image many times but never found it. It's 4" long and 4" tall, about 3" wide, but heavier than you'd expect. I think the base is black marble, there is a chip in the marble on one side, as shown, but since it's black you don't notice it much. Probably had green felt glued on the bottom originally. The fore mast is snapped off, as shown, there are a couple of other minor trim pieces missing, but, it is what it is. Looks pretty good has to be a darned rare piece. Only one I've ever seen and I've collected ocean liner memorabilia since the late 1970's!Buyer to pay for priority mail postage, will ship to U.S. addresses only, please ask questions first, all sales final, I do my best to describe things accurately. Thanks much!
