Conte Grande
of the
Italian Line
.
The ship is portraited starboard side at full speed at sea, painted in a mixed technique, water color and tempera. Mounted in an original fancy frame with loop for hanging, under glass with its original brass name tag.
This stunning piece was on sale at the boutique on board during post WWII days.
The painting is signed by the artist on its lower right.
It measures 8-1/4" x 7-1/2" ( Cm. 21 x 19 ). Easily dating to 1950's.
Perfect condition, as new.
