ITALIAN LINE SATURNIA & VULCANIA 1950s TOURIST BROCHURE BOOKLET & FULL DECK PLAN

Description

The Booklet was produced in 1950 by the Italian Line and is for Tourist Class. It has 10 pages with images of the public rooms and cabins and a center spread showing the SATURNIA.  Italian text, 9 x 9 inches and in excellent condition. The very detailed deck plans for the VULCANIA are dated June 1955 and open out to a large sheet measuring 39 x 22 inches. English and Italian descriptions. In excellent condition.
The Italian Line was formed in 1932 following a merger of the NGI, Lloyd Sabaudo and Cosulich Lines. The SATURNIA & VULCANIA were sister ships and built in the mid-1920s for the Cosulich Line. After WW2, the SAUTURNIA AND VULCANIA were extensively re-modernized for the role of Transatlantic liners for "ITALIA".
