    Description

    The length of the bean bag doll is eight inches.  When sitting, she is five inches tall.  Her main body is a bean bag.  Her arms and legs are soft stuffing. Her dress cannot be removed. The eyes and mouth are painted. She is not wearing shoes. The baby is three inches in length. The body is a corn cob and the head is a buckeye. The arms are made from a brown pipe cleaner. The baby is wrapped in a green checkered cloth.
    The plastic bag from the artist is dated 1993. The bean bag doll has an initial from the artist, pg and it is dated '94. "Growing up in rural Mississippi, I cherished my handmade doll.  She was lovingly made by Grandmother from the cotton and beans we grew.  My doll "Magnolia" and I enjoyed many southern afternoons playing under the large magnolia trees. I hope you will enjoy my little bean bag friend."
