2 Vintage handmade Corn Husk Dolls from the early 1970's

Description

The 2 cornhusk dolls were purchased in Germany in the early1970’s. Both were probably made in Czechoslovakia, although only one has a tag saying that it was made in that country. Condition is pre-owner, used.
The first doll is a woman sitting at an embroidery loom. The figure is 5” tall. She is very detailed with puff sleeves, an apron tied in the back with a bow, and a cloth tied on her head with hair showing at the front edge of the cloth. Her clothes have no rips or missing pieces. On the front of her skirt is a darker area which is probably the aging of the material. Her face is not damaged. The loom and stool are in great condition. In her right hand she is holding the needle(red thread) which she using to embroidery a red design. She has a hangtag which reads “Made in Czechoslovakia Handmade”.
The second is a boy riding on a pig.  The figure is 3 ¾” tall. The boy is in great condition with no damage to his hair and face. On his right pants leg is a darker area which is probably aging of the corn husk; the rest his clothing looks good. The pig is also in great condition and has a cute tail. The boy is holding a red thread which runs through the pig’s mouth; the thread is in good condition. This figure does not have a hand tag.
