    Original film negative. Shows the SS Palermo at the Poydras Street dock, New Orleans, LA. The ship was sunk by a German Submarine (U-72) on Dec 2, 1916.
    Photo taken by the famed Chicago Transportation Artist Charles Medin. The date and location were recorded & retrieved from his scrupulous notes.
